Matt Hart
| Matt Hart attended the California College of Arts and Crafts (now called CCA) on scholarship and graduated with distinction in 2001 with a BFA in printmaking. He's exhibited works throughout the United States in various galleries, music venues and other "alternative" art/music/performance spaces. Matt's been designing and screenprinting for bands since he was a teenager. Now 32, he owns and operates an independent clothing and postermaking company called thisposterwillselfdestruct. Matt Hart has taught screenprinting classes at the RAC in Richmond, CA and the Oxbow Institute in Napa, CA. He recently relocated to the Chapel Hill/Carborro area of North Carolina from Oakland with his wife Jenean, daughter Lola Rose and their many animal companions. Come January 2007, Matt will be teaching do-it-yourself screenprinting/postermaking classes with an emphasis on cheap &/or free materials at Carborro's ArtsCenter. |
